[On his lap and now on the couch, she leans back a little bit and rubs her eyes roughly. It was just too much for her to really want to deal with but it was nice to know that Tenka was here for her...he was more like a father than she ever had before the Baskervilles, but even then they were like siblings.]

I didn't know people could leave...so quick. He wasn't my Master Glen but he was nice to me, I wanted to be friends with him.

[ While he waits for Tenka to get to the door, Kagemitsu moves Poko from his shoulder to his arms.

Normally, he would grin or smile, at the very least, when faced with his descendant because even though they got off a little on the wrong foot right at the start, he loves the guy, very much. Which is exactly why he faces him with a serious expression, this time around. ]

[ When he steps inside the apartment, he notices signs that tells him that Sousei isn't at home, which is bit of a relief, because he can't be sure how much the Abe knows, or how much Tenka would want him to know. Had he been in, he would have asked if he could let them be alone for a while. Even though it would have been very rude, seeing as Sousei lives here, while Kagemitsu doesn't. ]

Ah, there was that one arc where I lost my balls, but I got them back. The last I looked they were still there and working.

I am working on a new marketing campaign for McCERES.
But I couldn't stand the feel of modgepodge on my hands any further, and so I am cleaning my bathroom instead.

Ah.

That's one thing that's changed. I'm taking different medicine now, from CERES. It works better.

[ . . . . it hurts in a similar way. Tenka just ruffles her hair faintly then even as he smiles sadly at her.]

You'll get a chance to be friends with him again soon, Lily-chan. But.... I understand. My little brother disappeared a while ago, too. It's sad.... isn't it?

[Lily just relaxes at the hair ruffle until she sees his face. The smile hurts her in a way but more are the words.]

...Ten-nii. [Looking down for an instant, she then hugs him tightly.] I'm sorry Ten-nii...I won't leave you.

[Is she helping? She hopes she is.]

ah but what i was trying to say is if you wanted to watch an episode or two i would've been willing to watch with you

[She is helping and he hugs her tightly in return, burying his face in her hair as he runs his fingers through it too. He'll keep her close as if she's the most precious thing in his world right now because she is his family and they both lost people. But they're still together.]

I know, Lily-chan. I'm never going to go anywhere either, alright? I promise I'll be with you.

[Face nuzzling against his chest, she lets out a small sigh. They both did lose someone but she knows a brother has to hurt a lot more. Tenka wasn't alone but it would be like if she lost Vincent or even Uncle. Even if Vincent was mean he was still family...and she would be terribly lonely without him.]

Pinky promise. [Lily gives him a firm look and offers her pinky.]

[Ah, so serious. Tenka understands that much and he glances over at Kagemitsu, a little amused at the other man's clear concern for whether or not Sousei is around. Tenka figures that much can be addressed first before he goes to sit at the table.]

Sousei's out because I asked him - but he knows everything about me, for what it's worth.

[So even as he pours the tea, he has to ask--]

What did you learn, Kagemitsu-san? And am I in trouble?

[A bit playfully - but he has to admit that the other Kumou might be the only one that Tenka would ever truly accept chastisement from at this point.]

[Tenka laughs faintly at that, amused then as he then proceeds to interlock their pinkies easily.]

Pinky promise.

[His sweet, sweet little sister.]

[Smiling herself she swings their wrists before she looks back to his face.]

I like it when Ten-nii's happy.

I'd like to see you try.

I am gradually making McCERES a better restaurant for us all. It will all begin with modgepodge.
