Is this how it works? Ha! Got it!
Hey, this is the equivalent of getting in touch with the mighty Kumou Tenka - yours truly - if I'm otherwise busy. Tell me what you need and I'll get back to you as soon as possible! Talk to you soon.

see you in 10!!!
tl;dr
Shirasu sets the tea set bundle in a sunny spot to help keep it warm, and looks around for Tenka. His left hand idly brushes his brother's mask tied to his belt, while his right hangs limply by his side; bandages poke out of the top of his arm sleeve. The fight with the demon had been tedious and aggravating so quickly after regaining his hearing.
Part of him is questioning why he even came. He could have pushed Tenka for an answer via the text messages, and when Tenka inevitably refused to answer, Shirasu could have assumed he was at least well and safe enough to be stubborn. Perhaps he'd just been happy to have something to do, requested by someone else. Perhaps it was the mention of the Yamainu captain being less than perfect at something.
When he hadn't died after falling off that cliff, he'd been content to bury whatever lingering feelings or regrets he had regarding the Kumou family. Since he'd never see them again, there was no point in dwelling. Not on what had been lost, or who had helped them defeat his plans. The Yamainu, the Abe shikigami, that half-formed failure. None of them mattered. Keeping his nearly decimated clan fed, safe and away from the authorities had been his only goal.
But here... no goals, no clan, no future with any real meaning. Only the ghosts of what he's tried so hard to leave behind.
He does miss Tenka. And that's the problem. ]

And when he sees Shirasu there, along with a tea set, he grins unabashedly, much like he used to when he would always be the one to win their little tussles. Tenka knew that most of his victories came mostly from Shirasu giving up and just letting him have his way - but isn't this something like that?
So he waves an arm in response, greeting happily:] Yoooo!
[He's rather beat up himself, but nothing that he bothered to really treat. There are small cuts, just knicks, and random light bruises all over his body, but he definitely still has all his limbs.
Then, as if it's his designated spot, Tenka sits right next to the tea set in the sunny spot.]
Alright, let's have tea!

And Tenka looks to be exactly where he belongs, sitting in the sun. Shirasu, himself, hangs back in the shade of a tree. When Tenka opens the bundle, he will only find a single teacup along with the still warm pot. ]
You look well. [ Which is all he wished to confirm. ]
no subject
Well.... despite Shirasu's words, Tenka doesn't really seem to respond to them. He did get impaled on a broken rack the night before, but he's already healed, so that's nothing that Shirasu needs to be concerned with, right? So as he tends to do, he skips right over it and in an appearance of being completely distracted-]
Shirasu....
[He frowns and completely seriously, he speaks again.]
I don't want to share a cup with you.
[Why did you only pack one?]

Were you haunted by a ghost?
[ The Yamainu captain hadn't said either way, though seeing how many people had been affected makes him certain Tenka probably was. ]
no subject
[Because there will be a next time and Tenka doesn't take no for an answer? But at the question of the being haunted by a ghost.... Tenka offers a grin and a tilt of his head.]
I'll make you a deal. I don't want to answer any question that you won't answer yourself.
[After all, Shirasu's been keeping things from him lately.]
no subject
[ So stubborn.
Shirasu steps out into the sunlight and sits seiza across from Tenka. He takes the cup and lets it warm his hands for a moment before drinking from it. ]
Checking for poison? [ Hands the cup back. Sadly, he doubts it. The Yamainu captain would have, but Shirasu doubts that influence has rubbed off. ]
no subject
Who do I look like? Sousei?
[But he accepts the cup back and sips it, humming in appreciation. Yeah, definitely different from the tea that either he or Sousei can manage to make. Something about this tastes a lot more like.... well, home.] Nah, I just figured you probably didn't have any before you gave it to me.
[Meanwhile Tenka would totally sneak sips before he delivers tea.... Though now he considers the previous question and nods.]
I was invisible and couldn't touch anyone, but apparently some people could hear me. [ . . . . and he pauses for a moment before adding-] You couldn't, though.
[He tried.]
no subject
The ghost haunting me ruptured my eardrums. I couldn't hear. [ He manuvers his right hand into his lap with his left. ] Yours sounds much worse, however. [ He didn't miss the implication that Tenka encountered him during his incorporeal state. ]
no subject
It was pretty bad, you're right. [which is kind of a huge understatement but also-] Did you get into a scuffle or something?
no subject
[ Fortunately he could hear then, just had some re-adjustment trouble. And the massive weapon had sliced his arm right down to the bone. ]
I was careless.
no subject
Ah... well, that makes the two of us. [He shakes his head faintly but doesn't say more than that.] Glad you're alright though.
[there was no harming that thing - it definitely could've been worse]
no subject
You were hurt?
no subject
[Slightly avoiding the question but... well, his answer is pretty clear.]
